Kozhikode: Big gold hunt at Karipur airport. Five passengers were arrested with seven and a half kilos of gold worth Rs 3.5 crore.
He tried to smuggle the gold by hiding it in his body and hiding it in a table fan battery. Aftab and Nizamuddin from Kannur, Ajmal and Mujeeb Rahman from Kozhikode, and Mujeeb from Malappuram were arrested. They brought the gold on an Air India flight from Dubai.
