Premas Biotech is a pharmaceutical company affiliated with Oramed Pharmaceutical Inc., a leading US company. On March 19, they announced the development of the Covid Defense Capsule, which was found to be effective in a single dose.
The Covid protein-based VLP vaccine provides three times the protection against the SARS Cov-2 virus. The clinical trial of the capsule will begin in the second quarter of 2021.
At the same time, clinical trials of a nasal injection vaccine developed by Bharat Biotech in collaboration with the University of Wisconsin are in progress. Human testing of nasal wax has begun in India. Currently, Covishield and Covaxin vaccines are being distributed in the country. At the same time, the daily increase in Covid patients in the country is worrying. In the last 24 hours, 47 Covid cases have been reported.
