Thiruvananthapuram; Famous poet and lyricist Anil Panachooran has passed away. He died at a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. The cause of death was that Covid had affected the lungs.
His famous songs are Chora veena Mannil Ninnuyarnnu Vanna Poomanam- Arabikkadha, Vyathyasthanam oru Barbaram Balane- Kadha Parayumbol.Born on November 20, 1965 at Panachoor, Varanappalli, Govindamuttam, Kayamkulam, Alappuzha district. He is the son of Udayabhanu and Draupadi. He educated from Nangyarkulangara TKM College, Thiruvananthapuram Law Academy and Varamkal Kakadiya University. Wife: Maya, daughter: Unnimaya.Famous poems include Valayil Veena Kilikal, Anadhan, Pranayakalam, Oru Mazha Peythengil, and Kanneerkkanalukal. Anil Panachooran has also composed lyrics for many films. Madambi, Cycle, Nasrani, Crazy Gopalan, Minnaminnikoottam, Calendar and Bhramaram are some of the famous films written by Anil Panachooran.
Anil Panachuran wrote the last lines for the movie “Within Seconds” starring Indrans which will start shooting in Kulathupuzha on Monday. Ranjin Raj is the music director.With Seconds is directed by Vijeesh P Vijayan. He has received the P. Bhaskaran Memorial Gold Seal Award from the Kannur Kavi Mandalam.
