Kozhikode: The bail plea of student arrested in suspecting a Maoist link will be considered on Wednesday. The bail plea of Alan Shoaib (20), Faisal Taha (24) to be considered by the district sessions court Judge Anita on Wednesday.
Public Prosecutor KN Jayakumar opposed the bail plea. But on Tuesday, the prosecution produced no additional evidence, other than the booklet and book produced against the students. He was not asked for custody. Advocate M K Dinesan appearing on behalf of Allan and Taha claim that the police had fabricated the Maoist link.
The students were arrested alleged Maoist affiliation on last Friday and charged UAPA.
