Pune: At least 17 people including four children, died after the wall of building collapsed in Thane. The accident happened in the Kondwa region of Pune, Maharashtra. The 60-foot-high wall was reported to have smashed into nearby huts following heavy rain. The crash happened around 1.30am today.
The dead included a woman and four children. Also, some are trapped in an accident. Efforts have been made to rescue them. Meanwhile, the dead have not been identified. Pune district collector Naval Kishore said the workers were from Bihar and Bengal. The building collapsed after heavy rain, started last Thursday.  Â
