Kozhikode: The district collector imposed section 144 in Vadakara, in Kozhikode. The 144 imposed in the polling day, by the district collector Sambasiva Rao. The prohibition is imposed from April 23 to April 24.
According to the reports, the collector announced that the people should not gather together in Vadakara Corporation, Onchiyam, Nadapuram, Perambra, Kunnummal panchayath as per the 144 rule.
