New Delhi: Punjab Sangrur Court issues notice to Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge in defamation case. The court action is on the complaint against the reference in the Karnataka assembly election manifesto.
The complaint is that the manifesto compared the BajRang Dal with terrorist organizations like the Popular Front of India. Hitesh Bharadwaj, president of BajRang Dal and a native of Punjab, filed a defamation case demanding 100 crores. It is stated in the notice that he will appear in court on July 10 in connection with the case.
