Thiruvananthapuram: Gold smuggling case accused Swapna Suresh says CPIM state secretary MV Govindan threatened to kill her. Swapna revealed that the person came to meet Swapna claiming that MV Govindan had told her that the Chief Minister had promised to pay 30 crores to start a new life in another country and that she should leave Kerala.
”Three days ago a person named Vijay Pillai called me. Called for an interview. I reached the hotel he mentioned with my children. But it was a settlement talk. Let’s give it a week. Go to Haryana or Jaipur. I will get a flat there. The evidence against Veena and Kamala madam in Swapna’s possession should be handed over. He said that if did not intend to leave Bengaluru, then there would be no truce and he would kill”, Swapna said. Swapna said that they had promised Rs 30 crores.
