California:  Elon Musk has announced that he will resign as CEO of Twitter. Musk made this clear on Twitter this morning.

“I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job! After that, I will just run the software & servers teams.’ – Elon Musk’s tweet.

Earlier, there were reports that Elon Musk has started looking for another CEO for the company after he failed in a Twitter poll on whether he should step down as the head of Twitter. This was followed by the resignation announcement on Twitter. Musk’s move comes after more than 100 former Twitter employees filed a complaint in California federal court accusing Musk of violating the law.

Users expressed their dissatisfaction with Musk’s new policies and the new work environment at Twitter in a poll given on Twitter itself. 57.5 percent said Musk should step down. 42.5 percent said that Musk should not resign as head of Twitter. 17502391 people participated in the poll.
