Srinagar: At least 11 people were killed when a bus crashed into a crowbar in Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir. Seven people were seriously injured in the accident. The injured were taken to a hospital. The students from a private Computer Training Institute were on the bus.

Restrictions on access to Mecca for foreigners will be implemented, following the Hajj season this year. The entry restriction, which will come into effect from Friday, June 28, will be extended till Dul-Haj 10 or 12 August.
Only foreigners who have Hajj permission will be transported to Macca. During this period with checkpoints and routes being strengthened once the entry barrier to Mecca is in place. Those who attempt to enter Mecca will face imprisonment and deportation.
