New Delhi: H1N1 has confirmed to six Supreme Court judges. Justice Mohana Santana Gouder, AS Bopanna, R. Bhanumati, Abdul Nasir, Sanjeev Khanna, and Indira Banerjee were affected by the H1N1 fever. Chief justice Bobde met with the judges after confirmed the fever.
Justice D.Y.Chandrachud said the meeting decided to provide adequate preventive medicine to judges and lawyers of the Supreme Court. There were reports that judges were delaying the arrival of the Supreme Court in the morning.
The bench headed by the Chief Justice was also delayed. But court officials, including the court master, did not specify why the judges would stay in the courtroom.
Subsequently, it was revealed that the judges had been affected by H1N1 and had called a meeting of the Chief Justice to discuss the matter.
Thiruvananthapuram: An indefinite private bus strike in the state from March 11. The bus owners strike demanding a hike in student fares and a minimum bus fare of Rs 10. The coordination committee of bus owners informed the Transport Minister AK Sasheendran that they will launch a private bus strike in March.
The Transport Minister had assured the bus owners that they would resolve the issue by February 23.

Panaji: Navy’s MiG-29K aircraft crashes. The accident is in the midst of routine training in Goa.
The pilot, who had taken advantage of the security system before the crash, escaped. The incident happened at around 10.30 am on Sunday. The Navy has announced an investigation.

Dakar: Underworld criminal Ravi Pujari arrested in Senegal. The arrest comes after the Senegal Supreme Court dismissed Ravi Pujari’s bail. Karnataka police and RAW officials have reached Senegal. Efforts are on to bring him back to India.
Ravi Poojari is accused in more than 200 cases, including a shooting at a beauty parlor in Kochi by actress Leena Maria Paul. In Karnataka, there are more than 100 cases of Ravi Pujari’s name.
