H1N1 confirmed to six Supreme Court judges

New Delhi:  H1N1 has confirmed to six Supreme Court judges. Justice Mohana Santana Gouder, AS Bopanna, R. Bhanumati, Abdul Nasir, Sanjeev Khanna, and Indira Banerjee were affected by the H1N1 fever. Chief justice Bobde met with the judges after confirmed the fever.

Justice D.Y.Chandrachud said the meeting decided to provide adequate preventive medicine to judges and lawyers of the Supreme Court. There were reports that judges were delaying the arrival of the Supreme Court in the morning.

The bench headed by the Chief Justice was also delayed. But court officials, including the court master, did not specify why the judges would stay in the courtroom.

Subsequently, it was revealed that the judges had been affected by H1N1 and had called a meeting of the Chief Justice to discuss the matter.
