Covid 19 Supreme Court mulls shutting down

New Delhi: As part of precautionary measures, the Supreme Court of India mulls shutting down. The court will hear urgent matters through video conference. The Lawyers chamber of the Supreme Court will seal today. The advocates also banned from arriving at the court.

The court building will be open once in a week, reports said.

Meanwhile, the High Court of Kerala also shut down its proceedings. The court closed until April 8. The case needs more attention only will be considered. The full court meetings with the judges have decided to close the court. Sitting will be held twice a week.

The most important cases will be heard on Tuesday and Friday by the court. Habiouscorpus petition, bail petitions, and personal affair cases will be heard by the court. For this, a special court or a bench will be set up, reports added.

The number of Covid-19 affected people reached 400 in the country. 68 more people diagnosed with the disease today, the health department said.

Thiruvananthapuram: Shriram Venkitaraman, the accused in the murder of KM Basheer, former Bureau Chief of Thiruvananthapuram, will be back to service. The government has decided to return Sriram after a meeting with journalist union officials.  The decision to withdraw was made after this.

The government has suspended Shriram on August 5, 2019, after he was accused of killing KM Basheer. He is currently assigned to the Department of Health.

Six deaths in Covid 19; Two more people died in the country

New Delhi: Two more people have died in the country following the COVID-19. The deceased has been identified as a 63-year-old resident of Mumbai and a 38-year-old resident of Bihar. The death toll from COVID-19 has risen to six in India. Two deaths were reported in the country on Sunday alone. He is a resident of South Mumbai’s Valkeshwar and has been in a private hospital for the past few days.

A man who had just returned from Qatar died in Bihar. He was under treatment at AIIMS in Patna. Though the death was reported on Saturday, the positive results were confirmed on Sunday. Corona has so far confirmed 341 people in the country. New cases have been reported in Jodhpur and Chandigarh in Rajasthan.

Volkswagen unveils India’s sports utility vehicle, the T-Roc, which is the second sports utility vehicle in the Indian market.

The T-Roc has a premium sporty SUV look in the form of the Volkswagen line-up of smaller sports utility models.

On the front of the T-Rock are a chrome-lined grille, DRL-supplied dual-beam projection headlamp, a large air dam, a large bumper, and a fog lamp.

The floating dashboard, digital instrument cluster, and 8.0-inch touch screen infotainment system make the interior of the vehicle look beautiful.

Volkswagen is built on the MIA platform. The vehicle weighs 1420kg. The 445-liter boot space capacity can be increased to 1290 liters by folding the rear seat.

The T-Roc will be available only in petrol engines. Powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbocharged TSI petrol engine, the vehicle produces 150 PS of power and 340 Nm of torque.

The transmission will be mated to a seven-speed dual-shift race. The vehicle is equipped with modern security systems.

The Ex-showroom has priced at Rs 19.99 lakh. T-Roc is expected to hit showrooms by mid-April.

Corona; Janata Curfew has been started

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation’s curfew while addressing the country at 8 pm on Thursday. At this time the people are not to be released and to stay indoors.

Essential services such as police, media, and medical services have been excluded from the curfew. The state will stand idle on Sunday as state and private institutions declare solidarity with the Janata curfew.

Coronavirus: 12 more cases were confirmed in the state on Saturday

Thiruvananthapuram: More than 12 people have confirmed the coronavirus positive on Saturday. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said this at a press conference. All the affected people are from the Gulf, the chief minister said.

The cases three are in Kannur, six in Kasargod and three in Ernakulam. With this, the total number of corona cases confirmed in the state has reached 52. The chief minister said there were 228 people in the hospital. The number of people being monitored in their homes exceeds 50,000.At least 70 people were hospitalized today. 3716 samples were sent for inspection. 2566 confirmed no infection. The Chief Minister said that everyone is trying to avoid the spread of Covid fever and that all caste and religious bigots are coming together under one single thought

Puducherry: The Union Territory of Puducherry on Wednesday announced a ban in the wake of the coronavirus virus outbreak. Chief Minister V Narayanswamy said the ban has been issued from Monday till 31 this month.

The action is part of making social distance due to Coronavirus spreading in the country. These days, people were restricted from going outside to buy groceries. Officials are only allowed to purchase goods between the hours of 7 am and 9 am and between 6 pm and 9 pm.

The ban was announced yesterday in Mahi, a part of Puducherry. The 144 were declared in Mahi after a resident of Mahi Chalakkara diagnosed with Coronavirus.

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath has resigned amid political uncertainties. He handed over his resignation to Governor Lalji Thandan. The BJP has conspired to overthrow the government and the people of Madhya Pradesh will not pardon the fraudsters, said Nath.

The Supreme Court had said before 5 pm today that the government should prove a majority. The Bench comprising Justices DY Chandrachud and Hemant Gupta issued the order. The decision was taken following the resignation of a majority of MLAs led by Jyotiraditya Scindia. However, Kamal Nath has now resigned from the party without seeking a vote of confidence.

The political crisis began in Madhya Pradesh with Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia joining the BJP. The Congress-led Kamal Nath government has become a minority after the rebel MLAs resigned following Sindhia. But the Speaker delayed the decision on whether to accept the resignation of the MLAs and postponed the meeting to prove a majority. BJP leader Shivraj Singh Chauhan had approached the apex court.
