Angammali: The Archdiocese of Ernakulam-Angamaly has said that it will not open churches until June 30, as the COVID 19 is spreading out of control. The final decision was taken in consultation with the Archdiocese’s Consultative Committee and the Priests.

The diocese, meanwhile, said that the shrines may be open for personal prayer. The circular also stipulated that government regulations should be strictly adhered to in events including marriage.

Former Santosh Trophy player Elayilath Hamzakoya (61) died due to COVID. Hamzakoya, who was hospitalized with symptoms of COVID, had severe pneumonia and shortness of breath. Hamsakoya is the first person to die in Kerala after treatment with plasma therapy.

The woman run out of the house. Strangers were passing in a vehicle rushed the woman to a local hospital.
