Arvind Kejriwal himself says that this is not enough to solve the current situation. The Center has increased the daily oxygen supply from 480 tonnes to 490 tonnes. However, the current oxygen crisis can only be resolved by getting at least 700 metric tons of oxygen per day. Despite announcing that 490 tonnes will be provided, only 335 tonnes of oxygen will reach hospitals, officials said.

New Delhi: To address Oxygen scarcity in Hospitals in India, funds were provided from the PMCare Fund for setting up the 551 oxygen plants. Will take steps to make plants work faster, the Prime Minister’s Office said.
The plants are being set up on the land of government hospitals, selected by the authority. These plants help to increase the availability of oxygen at the district level. The PMO office said in a statement. Earlier this year, PM set out to set up 162 PSA oxygen plants and 201.58 crores were earmarked from the fund.
To further strengthen the public health system, one of those hospitals plants is in place to ensure that there is an oxygen production facility.
