In severe cases, the yellow fungus can cause pus to leak out, causing the wound to dry out into a severe ulcer and cause the eyes to sink due to necrosis, so it is important that you seek medical attention as soon as you notice any symptoms.

Thiruvananthapuram: Indian Railways has canceled 25 trains in the state in the wake of cyclone Yaas. The Ernakulam-Patna and Thiruvananthapuram-Silchar trains have been canceled. New Delhi: The government is likely to decide on June 1 regarding the conduct of the CBSE Class XII examination. Although there was no consensus at the high-level meeting held yesterday, the unofficial understanding was to conduct the examination itself.

However, the CBSE has said that the exams will be held between July 15 and August 26. CBSE said the results would be released in September. The central government has to take the final decision in this regard.

At a meeting yesterday, a majority of states agreed to hold the exam. Only Maharashtra has demanded the cancellation of the exam. Delhi and Kerala have demanded that children be vaccinated before exams. The government has asked the states to give instructions on how to conduct the exams by Tuesday.

New Delhi:  The first flight from India to Israel will be resumed from New Delhi on the 31st of this month, Union minister Muraleedharan informed. Flights are scheduled for July 31. Only those who have been granted an Israeli visa after May 21 will be able to travel. Previous visa holders must renew.

Kolkata: The death of the first black fungus was reported in West Bengal. The deceased was identified as Shampa Chakravarthy, 32, a native of Haridevpur. They are being treated at Shambhunath Pandit Hospital. Black fungus sputum was found on the last day. The hospital authorities found out that they were suffering from severe diabetes.

At the same time, five black fungi were found in various hospitals in the state. Gigi is in treatment. All of them are natives of Bihar and Jharkhand. Their health status is being closely monitored. The group reported.

Mumbai: A DNA test will be conducted to identify the bodies of 30 people who died in the sinking of an ONGC barge in the Arabian Sea. Some corpses have rotted and some have been deeply wounded. That is why it is indistinguishable.

The disease killed 212 people. This includes 90 in Maharashtra and 61 in Gujarat. It is more common in people with weakened immune systems, people with uncontrolled diabetes, and people who take high doses of steroids.

However, there is concern that the disease may now affect some adolescents with weakened immune systems. Black fungus is endemic in Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Odisha, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Telangana, and Chandigarh. The inconsistent use of steroids in the treatment of Covid has led to an increase in cases of mucormycosis, a member of the Niti Ayog V. K. Paul said.
Experts say other causes behind the rise in black fungus cases in various parts of the country should be investigated. They also say they use of zinc in Covid treatment should be stopped. The presence of metals such as zinc and iron in the body provides a conducive environment for the fungi that cause black fungus, said Dr. Krishna Kumar, former president of the Indian Medical Association (IMA).
