Bhopal: A fire broke out at the Kamala Nehru Hospital in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The fire broke out in the children’s ward of the hospital. Four children were burnt to death in the incident. The incident took place around 9 pm on Monday.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that an attempt was made to evacuate the children immediately after the fire broke out and that 36 of the 40 children in the children’s ward had been rescued and a high-level inquiry had been ordered into the matter.

Eighth class in the state from today

Thiruvananthapuram: The eighth class in the public schools in the state started today. The classes are in batches on the bio bubble model like the other classes started on the 1st of this month. Ninth and PlusOne classes will start on the 15th. Eighth grade begins early in the context of the National Achievement Survey 12 to test learning quality. Earlier, it was announced that classes 15 to 8 and 9 would be started. At present, the requirement will be examined as soon as the school change application process for Plus One admission is completed and applications for additional batches will be accepted from government schools. Raipur: Four jawans were killed in a firing incident at a CRPF camp in Chhattisgarh. Three people were seriously injured and were rushed to a nearby hospital. One of the army men in the camp opened the fire. The incident took place at the Marigude camp in the Sukma district. No motive has been identified for the killings. The CRPF said several people had minor injuries.

Thiruvananthapuram: The Met Office has forecast heavy rains with thunderstorms in the state till Thursday. A yellow alert has been declared in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Idukki, Palakkad, and Malappuram districts till Wednesday. Eleven districts received yellow warnings on Thursday. Strong winds and high tides are likely along the Kerala coast. The cyclone in the Bay of Bengal has turned into a low-pressure area, causing heavy rainfall in the state. Low pressure is formed off the coast of Sumatra in the Bay of Bengal.

Test card for those over 30; Health Minister says the plan will be prepared at panchayat level

Kochi: Health Minister Veena George has said that test cards will be made available to those above 30 years of age for early detection and treatment of lifestyle diseases. The plan will be prepared at the panchayat level and implemented with the cooperation of the people’s representatives.

The minister said that a people’s campaign will be launched. The Minister was inaugurating the Advanced Gastroenterology Block at Kadavanthra Indira Gandhi Co-operative Hospital.

A cancer registry will be set up in Kerala. This will help identify and prevent the most common types of cancer. Organ transplants are now widely needed, including in young people. Efforts should be made to reduce the huge cost of this. Organ transplant surgery will be started soon at Kottayam Medical College. The Minister also inaugurated a scheme to provide free angioplasty to 100 needy patients in the Ernakulam Parliamentary constituency.

CBSE guidelines released

New Delhi: CBSE has released the guidelines for conducting the first term examination offline for Class X and PlusTwo classes. The Plus Two examination will start from November 16 and the Class X examination from November 17.

The offline examination will be conducted in nine subjects of Class X and 19 subjects of Plus Two. Schools should print the optical mark reader sheets of the CBSE board to mark the correct answer and give them to the students.

Schools have to upload the OMR sheets issued by the students to the CBSE portal after writing the exam. The time allowed for writing the exam is 90 minutes. This time students will get an additional 30 minutes.

19 killed in truck crash

Mexico City: At least 19 people have been killed after a transport truck crashed into a toll booth and six other vehicles on a highway in central Mexico. Authorities said three people were injured in the incident.

The brakes of the truck carrying the raw materials for the shampoo were damaged and the vehicles collided with each other. A statement from Federal Roads and Bridges in Mexico said the blaze was followed by a massive fire on the highway. Video footage of the accident was circulated on social media.

Four people, including a women rights activist, have been killed in Afghanistan

Kabul: A Taliban government spokesman in Afghanistan has said four women have been killed in the northern city of Mazar-e-Sharif. The bodies of the slain women were found in a house in the city. Interior Ministry spokesman Qari Syed Khosti said two suspects had been arrested in the incident.

“The detainees admitted at preliminary questioning that they had invited the women home. “Further investigation is underway and the case has been referred to the court,” he said. Frozan Safi, also an economics teacher, was killed. The body of Safi, who went missing on October 20, was found in the city of Mazar-e Sharif. This is the first time such an incident has been reported since the Taliban took control of Afghanistan.

Safi’s sister, Rita, said they recognized her by the clothes she was wearing and that the bullets had disfigured her face.

Fearing retaliation from the Taliban, Safi sought refuge in Germany. The sister said that Safi had left the house with the documents after receiving a phone call from an unknown person that he could help her leave the country safely. However, the Taliban claimed that hostilities between individuals were behind the incident.
