KSRTC disbursed `94.95 crores to the employees

Thiruvananthapuram. 94.95 crore was disbursed to KSRTC employees this month, including October salaries. Out of the Rs. 60 crore sanctioned by the government for salaries and Rs. 27.75 crore from the KSRTC fund, Rs. 87.75 crore was paid in salaries. In addition to this, Rs. 7.20 crore was paid from the KSRTC fund earlier this month as the last installment of the amount seized from government employees during the covid period.

Revenue for October was Rs. 113.77 crore. 106.25 crore from the operating segment and 4.40 crore from the non-operating segment. This amount was received from 3.12 crore people. At the same time, the expenditure for October was Rs. 270.78 crores.

87.75 crore for salaries and other allowances, Rs. 17 lakh for employees’ medical allowance, Rs. 70.51 crore for pension, Rs. 12.08 crore for arrears due in October, Rs. 69.19 crores for diesel and lubricants, a sum of Rs. 3.81 crore was paid for the salaries of the employees of the fuel pump.
