New Delhi: One more vaccine is allowed in the country. For 12 to 18 year olds DCJI approves corbe vaccine.
The Corbe vaccine is owned by the Biological E Limited Company. Permission has been granted for emergency use. The company says it has taken steps to bolster the country’s struggle for covid. Corbevax is the second vaccine approved for use in adolescents. Two doses of 0.5 ml each are given at 28-day intervals. Covacsin was previously approved for use in adolescents. However, the vaccine was only approved for use by 15- to 18-year-olds.
The biggest advantage of this vaccine, which was developed by American scientists with the goal of providing covid immunity to people in developing countries, is that it is inexpensive. The discovery of the new vaccine led researchers to conclude that the covid epidemic could only be eradicated if the vaccine was made available to everyone in developing countries, including Africa.
The vaccine was developed by some scientists in Texas, USA. Its main goal is to help to develop and underdeveloped countries fight the covid epidemic. The manufacturers believe that this will prevent covid 19. The vaccine, developed by Texas Children’s Hospital and the Boiler College of Medicine in Houston by the end of 2021, has been approved by India. In India, the copyright has been transferred to Biological E Ltd with an open license.

Due to the current financial crisis, KSRTC alone will not be able to expand its services to isolated areas due to additional liabilities. In this case, the Gramavandi scheme will come into effect on the condition that the diesel cost for the journey should be borne entirely by the local bodies.
The total cost of running a 150 km bus is estimated at Rs 9,251. Of this, Rs 3,375 is for diesel. The diesel cost of a village train plying through multiple panchayats can be shared. Local bodies should ensure parking of vehicles, accommodation, and security of employees.
KSRTC is launching the Gramavandi service in view of the growing demand for bus services to isolated rural areas. The service will be feeder service and end-to-end service. Ordinary bus fares are applicable.
The service can also be connected to schools, hospitals, social welfare institutions, anganwadis and markets. To ensure smooth running, the Transportation Management Committee will be constituted under the chairmanship of the local body and evaluate the activities. KSRTC hopes to launch village trains by next April.
