77th INDEPENDENCE DAY AT RED FORT: PM ADDRESSED FROM THE RAMPARTS OF REDFORT.
The PM gave his 10th Independence Day speech and he almost spoke for 90 minutes. It was his final Independence Day speech before the 2024 Lok Sabha election and he confidently said that he will address the nation for the next Independence Day from the Red Fort to index out the commitments he made to the people.

Mr Modi highlighted all the achievements of his government and said that the determinations and sacrifices made in this period will have an impact on the next 100 years. On August 15, Modi promised his compatriots a “New India” that would bring them a bright future over the next five years and set up a target of 2024 to make India a developed Nation. He stated that ‘Vishwakarma Yojana’ is set to launch on Vishwakarma Jayanthi next month for those that are skilled in traditional skills allotting ₹13,000 crore to ₹15,000 crore. He added that the government will shortly equip a scheme for middle-class families living in the metropolis but do not own a house.
The PM added that the government is working for peace in the northeastern state and assured a solution to the Manipur crisis. “India is the world’s friend who does not think just about itself. After Covid, India advocated for a ‘One Earth, One Health’ approach,” said the PM, stating how India helped other countries during the pandemic crisis.
“My country is the fastest country to roll out 5G. We have reached more than 700 districts and now we are getting ready for 6G. We have formed a task force,” said Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also condemned the opposition parties over the affairs of corruption, dynastic guidelines and conciliations.

So now for this Onam season, Sophia Paul arrives with RDX: Robert Dony Xaveir. Shane Nigam, Antony Varghese and Neeraj Madhav do the lead roles and the debutant Nahas Hidayath is directing the film.

Nuh: The situation in Nuh, Haryana, where communal conflict continues, remains critical. The state government has extended the ban on mobile internet and SMS services in Nooh till tomorrow.
So far, 393 people have been arrested in connection with the communal clashes that took place earlier this month. 118 people are in reserve detention. Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij said that 160 FIRs have been registered in Nuh, Gurugram, Faridabad, Palwal, Rewari, Panipat, Bhiwani and Hisar. 218 people have been arrested in Nuh in connection with the Braj Mandal violence.
Meanwhile, all schools and educational institutions have been allowed to open in Gurugram. Moreover, curfew has been relaxed for 11 hours.
Srinagar: India deploys updated MiG-29 fighter jets in Srinagar following threats from Pakistan and China. The MiG-29 will replace the MiG-21 currently at Srinagar Air Base. After the Balakot air strike in 2019, it was the MiG-29 that shot down Pakistan’s F-16. The MiG-29 is capable of carrying long-range missiles. The MiG-29 was delivered to the Srinagar airbase in January this year.
Thiruvananthapuram: The welfare pension will be distributed from Monday. 3200 rupees will reach 57 lakh deserving people before Onam as two months of pension will be paid together. The social security pension and welfare board pension for the months of May and June have been ordered to be distributed from 14th. Delivery will be completed before the 23rd.
At the same time, due to the financial crisis, two months of pension due to the Onam will be paid together for this purpose, Rs 1762 crore. 1000 crores will be borrowed for this purpose. The pension for the month of July is now due.
Amaravati: A 6-year-old girl was attacked and killed by a tiger in Tirupati. She was going to visit the temple with her parents when the tiger attacked him. Lakshita, a native of Andhra Pradesh, was killed.

A five-man gang burst into the bank and looted Rs 14 lakh in five minutes by frightening the employees with a rifle. Following the event, authorities launched a large hunt for the suspects, who fled on motorcycles.
A gang of five people on two bikes entered the bank wearing helmets and masks and the crime happened in a cinema style around 11:00 AM. The gang came in two different bikes and their faces were covered. The robbers entered the bank and started to point guns at the bank employees and customers. After getting into the bank the robbers threatened the bank employees and cash was there in the counter so the robbers forced them to put the money into their bag. Later, everyone was moved to a different room and soon one of the thieves moved the money from the counter to their bag.
Before the bank staff could call the cops, the gang had fled the scene with the money from the counters. CCTV captured footage of the robbers arriving and leaving after completing the assignment. The police stated that the search for the robbery gang has been expanded and that the investigation is ongoing.
Jailer Reports Record Opening, Beats the First Day Collection of Varisu and Thunivu.
Rajinikanth and Nelson are back, the first-day collection of Jailer reports a massive record-breaking opening and the advance booking is indicating that the movie can break several records.
The shocking and unexpected news coming from the world of Tamil Cinema is that Rajinikanth’s Jailer has created a massive big opening in the Tamil Nadu Box-office. The worldwide opening collection of Jailer is 90.85 Crores and it’s a new opening record. This proves that Rajinikanth is still the Super Star and can dominate the box-office anytime. The tremendous response and positive reviews from critics are helping the Jailer to roar in the box-office.
According to various reports till Sunday, the movie will be strong enough to dominate the box-office and the advance ticket bookings till Sunday are in full swag. So let’s check out the gross collection breakup of Jailer; in Tamil Nadu, Jailer was able to cross 26 Crores beating the opening collection of this year’s Varisu and Thunivu. According to the trade Trade analyst Manobala, Bhola Shankar’s first-day share will be less than Rs 15 crore. Therefore, in Telugu States Rajini’s Jailer is giving tough competition for their Mega Star. In the Karnataka state, Jailer grossed ₹11.85 Crores and the cameo appearance of Shiva Rajkumar is helping Jailer to make more and more money. In the state of Kerala, the movie crossed ₹5.85 Crores, it’s an unbelievable opening because even the top star actors in films in Malayalam are struggling to get a figure like ₹5.85 Crores. The Overseas Collection of Jailer is $4.8 Million which is equal to ₹39.75 Crores and the Rest of India is ₹2 crores. So the grand total of the first-day collection of the Jailer is ₹90.85 Crores.

Thiruvananthapuram: The first quarter annual examination will be held in public schools of the state from August 16 to 24. According to the academic calendar, the exam was supposed to start on 17th.
The exam was also scheduled on the 19th, which was declared as a working day for schools. But the Quality Improvement Program (QIP) Supervisory Committee meeting decided to start the examination a day earlier as the PSC examination was being held in most of the schools that day.
UP and high school level exams will start on 16th. LP School Exams will be from 19th to 24th. Schools will be closed for Onam holidays on 25th.
Schools will be opened again on September 4. The question paper for the examination of classes 1 to 10 will be prepared and printed by the public education department itself and delivered to the schools. But it is suggested that the respective schools should prepare the question papers of the Plus Two exams. It was the same last year too.
Correct and read that the examination time of 8th class mathematics on 21.08.2023 in high school section is from 1.30 to 3.15 pm.
