Thiruvananthapuram: The motor vehicle department has canceled the license of the person who killed the school student. Suspect in the case of 15-year-old Adi Shankar’s bicycle being hit and killed by a car in Kattakkada. R. Priyaranjan’s license was cancelled.
The incident happened in the evening of August 30 in front of the Bhadrakali temple in Pulingode. At first it was thought to be an accident. The murder came to light after the CCTV footage of Priyaranjan hitting and killing Adi Shankar who was traveling on a bicycle in front of the temple.
Last April, Adi Shankar had questioned Priyaranjan for urinating on the wall of the temple. The police found out that it was this enmity that prompted Priyaranjan to kill Adisekhar who was riding a bicycle by hitting him with a car. The Inspector of Motor Vehicles conducted an inquiry against Priyaranjan and recommended the cancellation of his license.
Mumbai: 12 people died after a mini bus hit a container in Maharashtra. 23 people were injured. The accident took place on Samriddhi Expressway in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district.
The accident took place around 12.30 am in the Vaijapur area of the expressway. There were 35 passengers in the private mini bus. It is reported that the bus was speeding. The bus lost control and hit the container. The injured were admitted to the government hospital.

New Delhi: CBI raids West Bengal and Sikkim for fake passport related racket. The raids are taking place at 50 places in both the states. The investigation was conducted after receiving information about the passport racket.
CBI has registered a case against 24 people in the incident. It is reported that government officials are also included among them. The case is for granting passport on the basis of forged documents.

It is reported that some private individuals have obtained and issued passports with the help of government officials by producing forged documents. The investigation is ongoing. The authorities also stated that many people are under suspicion.
