The glass bridge at Vagamon reopened for tourists
Thodupuzha: The work of Glass Bridge (Glass Bridge) installed at Kolahalamedu in Vagamon has resumed. On the first day, more than six hundred tourists came to climb the bridge. The 40-feet long and 150-feet high cantilever glass bridge will be reopened in favorable weather conditions.

Travancore Devaswom Board withdraws decision to charge fee for tilak to Ayyappa devotees
Kochi: The Travancore Devaswom Board has withdrawn its decision to impose a fee for Tilak for Ayyappa devotees. In Erumely temple, Ayyappa devotees were charged a fee for wearing Tilak. The Devaswom Board informed about the withdrawal of the decision in the High Court.
At the same time, the district unit of the temple coordination committee had accused the district unit of imposing the fee as a challenge to the Hindus and to harm the devotees and intensified their protest against the agreement. Seat belt and helmet mandatory; MVD to ensure safety of children
Kochi: The Motor Vehicle Department has prepared strict measures to ensure safety of children in cars and two-wheelers. Special seat belts are mandatory for children between one and four years of age. Helmets will also be made mandatory for children above four years of age on two-wheelers. The action was taken after the baby in the mother’s lap died of suffocation after the airbag hit his face in a collision between a car and a tanker lorry.
Children between the ages of four to 14 and below 135 cm in height are required to wear a child booster cushion with a seat belt. Omprakash’s Drug case: DCP will question the film stars
Kochi: Kochi DCP KS Sudarshanan said that the film stars who visited Omprakash’s Miri in connection with the drug case will be questioned.
