Kochi: The Youth Commission has registered a case against Rahul Eshwar for his constant insulting of women. A case has been registered on the complaint filed by an organization called Disha, pointing out abusive remarks against actress Honey Rose.

Youth Commission President Shajar asked that those who abuse and insult the lives of the people should not participate in the discussions of the channels.

Actress Honey Rose filed a police complaint against Rahul Eshwar alleging that he made bad remarks and insulted her. Following this, the High Court has sought the position of the police on the petition filed by Rahul Eshwar for anticipatory bail. The anticipatory bail application has been postponed to next 27th. Rahul Eshwar approached the High Court that there is a possibility of arresting him in the case in which Bobby Chemmanur is an accused and requested that this be stopped.

Kalpetta: Crime Branch has been appointed to investigate the suicide of Wayanad DCC Treasurer N M Vijayan. The crime branch will investigate all three fraud cases.

The crime branch will investigate the cases filed by Patros Talur, Sayuj and Shaji. IC Balakrishnan, ND Appachan and KK Gopinathan are the accused in the suicide incitement case.

Four people were arrested yesterday in the case. Subin, Sandeep, Vineeth and Ananthu, natives of Prakanam, were arrested. The fifth accused Sudhi is in jail in another POCSO case. His arrest will also be recorded today.

The two-year-old abuse information came out during CWC’s home visit program. The girl is now 18 years old. The police got two years of abuse information through CWC.

POCSO will be charged against the accused as the sexual exploitation took place before the age of majority. A POCSO case has been filed against 40 people based on the disclosure made by the girl before the Child Welfare Committee.

Kochi: High Court rejects Bobby Chemmanur’s bail plea in sexual assault case. The High Court said that the plea will be heard on Tuesday and that this case has no consideration that the common man does not have.

“Be careful when making comments in public. No consideration can be given to this case which is not common to ordinary people. The court also asked under what circumstances the case should be considered urgently.

Bobby Chemmanur filed a bail application in the High Court after the Ernakulam Judicial First Class Magistrate Court denied him bail. Bobby should remain in Chemmanur jail till Tuesday as the petition is not considered. Magistrate court has remanded Bobby Chemmanur for 14 days.

Thiruvananthapuram: The government has extended the suspension period of N Prashant IAS. The suspension has been extended for four months. The award is based on the recommendation of the review committee. N Prashant’s non-response is a serious violation of the review committee’s assessment. The suspension was for insulting Additional Secretary Jayathilak and Gopalakrishnan, who was the Director of Industries Department, through Facebook.

Instead of replying to the charge memo issued by Chief Secretary Sharada Muraleedharan, he sought an explanation there, which caused a lot of controversy. N Prashanth had also sent a lawyer notice to the Chief Secretary demanding action against those who tampered with the government document.
