Kalpetta: Crime Branch has been appointed to investigate the suicide of Wayanad DCC Treasurer N M Vijayan. The crime branch will investigate all three fraud cases.
The crime branch will investigate the cases filed by Patros Talur, Sayuj and Shaji. IC Balakrishnan, ND Appachan and KK Gopinathan are the accused in the suicide incitement case.
MLA IC Balakrishnan’s lawyer demanded a proper investigation into the suicide note. Some lines are cut off. The lawyer said that political hunting is going on against the MLA and IC is undergoing treatment for heart disease. The lawyer said that there will be no action to influence the witnesses and will not interfere in the investigation.
