Katalin Karriko and Drew Weissman have been awarded the 2023 Nobel Prize in Medicine for their research into the development of a Covid-19 mRNA vaccine.
The research conducted by the two at the University of Pennsylvania has been awarded the 2023 Nobel Prize in Medicine. Together they conducted research that led to the development of mRNA vaccines. Katelyn is the 13th woman to win the Nobel Prize in Medicine.
