Next year’s public holidays announced in UAE 2023

Abu Dhabi: Next year’s public holidays have been announced in the UAE. Holidays are January 1, New Year’s Day, April 20 to 23 Eid-ul-Fitr, June 27 to 30 Eid al-Adha, July 21, the beginning of the Hijra year, and September 29, the Nabi Dinam. The holiday was announced by the UAE Cabinet. The holiday will apply to both the public sector and private sector.

A uniform schedule for public and private sectors is issued in the UAE to ensure equal days off for employees. Some of the holidays mentioned in the list are based on the Hijri Islamic calendar. Lunar eclipses are also crucial when calculating similar days in the Gregorian calendar.
