Ottawa: An Indian student was shot dead in Canada. The victim, HarSimrat Randhawa (21), was a native of Punjab and a student at Mohawk College in Hamilton. The incident took place in Ontario.
According to reports, HarSimrat was waiting at a bus stop when she was accidentally shot during a clash between two groups who arrived in separate vehicles.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident. Authorities confirmed that the student was an innocent bystander and was unintentionally caught in the crossfire.
