London: Buckingham Palace has confirmed that British King Charles III is suffering from cancer. In a statement, the palace said Charles’ public events had been changed as he began treatment.
Last month, 75-year-old King Charles sought treatment for an enlarged prostate. Cancer was confirmed during the subsequent tests. At the same time, the authorities informed that Charles has not been affected by prostate cancer.
The statement said that he is coping with the treatment with optimism and will soon return to public events. British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and others wished Charles a speedy recovery.
