Kyiv: At least 47 people have been killed in a Russian airstrike in Chernihiv on Thursday, Ukraine’s emergency services say, killing 38 men and nine women. The information was confirmed by the Chernihiv Regional State Administration. Eighteen people were injured in the incident. Earlier, search and rescue operations were suspended due to the intensification of the attack.
