THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Congress leader V.D. Satheesan was sworn in as the 13th Chief Minister of Kerala. At a grand ceremony held at the Raj Bhavan, Governor Rajendra Arlekar administered the oath of office and secrecy. Satheesan took the oath in the name of God.
Along with the Chief Minister, 21 members of the new cabinet also took their oaths and officially assumed charge.

High-Profile Dignitaries in Attendance
The swearing-in ceremony witnessed a massive gathering of prominent national and state political leaders. Top Congress leadership, including AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi, attended the event. Other prominent national leaders present included Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
The ceremony was also attended by Leader of the Opposition Pinarayi Vijayan, BJP State President Rajeev Chandrasekhar, CPM State Secretary M.V. Govindan, and CPI State Secretary Binoy Viswam. In addition to political leaders, various social leaders and religious heads were also present to witness the occasion.
