Chamoli: The death toll from an avalanche in Uttarakhand has risen to 40. Two more bodies were recovered. 164 people are yet to be found.
Uttarakhand DGP Ashok Kumar said the disaster relief force would be able to reach 130 meters inside the Tapovan tunnel. He said efforts were on to complete the rescue operation as soon as possible.
