Thiruvananthapuram: Today is a completely dry day in the state in connection with World Anti-Drug Day. Bars and liquor shops will not be open today. Today will be a complete day in Kerala as part of the anti-drug day awareness. Liquor stores and premium liquor stores of the Beverages Corporation or Consumer Fed will not open. Private bars in the state will also be closed today. The government has given a day off to liquor shops in support of anti-drug campaigns.
Since 1987, the United Nations has observed June 26 as World Anti-Drug Day.
