Itanagar: Security forces killed six separatists in clashes in Arunachal Pradesh. Arunachal Pradesh DGP RP Upadhyaya said that six soldiers of NSCNIM were killed and one soldier in Assam rifle was injured.

The encounter took place in the Longding district at around 4 am. Six weapons and war-like stores were recovered from the area.

The Assam Rifles have launched a search operation based on intelligence information that there are armed insurgents in the public area of Khonsa in Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh.
