The award was presented in a grand ceremony at Nathika Beach, Thrissur. MA Yusufali, a prominent industrialist, inaugurated the occasion with video conferencing. Mammootty was the chief guest at the function.
Vijay Yesudas presented the award for the best singer. Unnimukundan, Anu Sithara, Dharmajan, Saiju Kurup, Mia George and Inia have also bagged awards at the event.
