Sabarimala pilgrimage: More relaxation in Covid Norms

Thiruvananthapuram: As the spread of covid is declining, more relaxation has been given in the Sabarimala pilgrimages. The concessions were decided during a meeting between Devaswom Minister K Radhakrishnan and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

The traditional route from Pomba through Neelimala, Appachimedu, and Marakoottam will be opened. First aid facilities have been set up at Neelimala and Appachimedu. Pilgrimages will be allowed to stay overnight in Sannidhanam. 500 rooms have been set up as per covid norms for this.

Bathing in Pamba has also been allowed. But the district administration will take a decision after assessing the water level in Pamba.
