Pathanamthitta: The flag was hoisted today for the Sabarimala festival. The flag will be hoisted by Tantri Kantharar Mahesh Mohanar between 10:30 am and 11:30 am. Pilgrims have been deported since this morning. About 15,000 pilgrims are allowed to visit the festival daily.
Pallivetta will be held on the 17th and Arattu will be held on the 18th in Pampa. For those who have not booked the virtual queue, a spot booking facility has been introduced in Nilakkal.
Meena Masam poojas will be held at Sabarimala from 14th to 19th. The temple will be closed on the night of the 19th with the singing of Harivarasana.
