The State Disaster Management Authority has requested residents in areas prone to landslides to be relocated as soon as they are notified by the district administration.

The heavy rainfall in the evening will cause flooding in the lowlands and landslide.

Strong winds are possible due to the low pressure in the Arabian Sea. Fishermen on Monday off the coast of Kerala, Karnataka, and Lakshadweep are advised not to go to sea as the winds are likely to be 45-55 km/hr.
