Thiruvananthapuram: ADGP MR Ajith Kumar has been given a clean chit in the illegal property acquisition case. The Vigilance Director has submitted the final report to the government. It has been found that Ajith Kumar did not commit corruption in the construction of houses, purchase of flats and gold smuggling.
However, if the government accepts the report, it will be a step towards promotion for Ajith Kumar. The Vigilance investigation against Ajith Kumar was initiated on the corruption allegations made by P.V. Anwar.
The Vigilance has found that the construction of the house was informed to the government. It has been found that Ajith Kumar was not involved in the felling of trees at the Malappuram camp office.
The Vigilance has found that the allegation that the flat was bought and sold at double the price within 10 days was false.
