Kochi: India’s indigenously developed aircraft carrier INS Vikrant was commissioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a historic moment for the nation and the Navy. The ceremony was held at Cochin Shipyard.
The Prime Minister said that this is the pride of the country. Vikrant special, a symbol of effort, is a moment every Indian is proud of. Even if challenges arise, India can face them.
With Vikrant indigenously built, the country came to the forefront of the world. Kudos to all who worked hard. Kudos to the workers and engineers. Vikrant is the imprint of 21st-century India.
India also joins the ranks of aircraft carrier manufacturing countries. The Navy has increased strength and morale. The government is working for self-sufficient Bharat. The defense manufacturing corridor in Tamil Nadu and UP is progressing well. Modi also said that local product manufacturing will be beneficial for the country.
