Thiruvananthapuram: The health minister called a high-level meeting in the situation where omicron disease has been confirmed in the state. Omicron confirmed four people yesterday. The meeting was attended by top officials of the health department and DMOs at 11 am today. The health department has decided to test samples from those on the contact list with patients. Those with symptoms will also be examined. So far, Omicron has been confirmed for five people in the state. Two people are involved in the case. The other two are from Ernakulam and Thiruvananthapuram. A native of Ernakulam, he is from Congo and a native of Thiruvananthapuram is from the UK. A 22-year-old girl in Thiruvananthapuram was diagnosed with the omicron yesterday.
