NORKA confirms that 24 Malayalees died in the Kuwait disaster

Thiruvananthapuram: NORKA confirmed that 24 Malayalees died in Kuwait fire.  NORKA CEO Ajith informed that 7 of the deceased are yet to be identified and efforts are being made to bring the bodies home as soon as possible.  He informed that they are waiting for official confirmation of the names of the deceased.

 7 people were injured in the accident and are undergoing treatment in critical condition.  A few have been discharged from hospitals.  Efforts are being made to bring the dead bodies to the country in the shortest possible time.  The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Kuwait Embassy will coordinate the matter.
