Kochi: Sexual harassment complaint again against Monson Mavungal. The complaint was lodged by a woman from Kochi. The victim was a young woman who worked at Monson’s firm. The crime branch will record the statement of the woman.
Earlier a POCSO case was registered against Monson Mavungal in Kochi.
The incident took place in 2019 at Monson Mavungal’s house in Kochi. The girl’s mother had stated that she had not complained against Monson for so long out of fear. The case registered by the North police is being investigated by the crime branch.
The girl’s statement revealed that some of the employees had sexually assaulted her. Meanwhile, Monson Mavungal was remanded in judicial custody till November 3 on a complaint filed by archaeologist Santosh. He was remanded by the Ernakulam Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Court.
