Kochi: Cyber expert Sai Shankar’s confession has been recorded in connection with the destruction of Dileep’s phone information in a murder conspiracy case. The confidential statement was recorded in Ernakulam CJM court two. The interrogation lasted for three hours.
Sai Shankar told investigators that he was not mentally abused by crime branch officials and that his laptop RamanPillai Associates had seized evidence against Dileep.
Further evidence against Sai Shankar in the conspiracy case was presented in the Crime Branch court. The crime branch found that Sai Shankar had tried to divert the case. The probe team had also produced evidence in court that Sai Shankar had destroyed the mobile chats of Dileep and his associates.
