Kannur wedding house blast; One more arrested

Kannur: Another man has been detained in connection with a bomb blast at a wedding party in the Thottada, Kannur. Arun, a native of Kadampur, was taken into custody. It was found that Arun who wielded the sword for Sanad. His arrest will be recorded today. With this, the number of people arrested in the case has increased to five. Three people were arrested the previous day. Police arrested Mithun, Gokul from Echoor and Sanal from Kadampur. Police found that the accused had arrived at the wedding venue with weapons including a machete and a machete. Kannur SP informed about this in a press conference. Earlier, Mithun had admitted that he had made the bomb himself. Mithun pleaded guilty during police questioning. Mithun also said that the other accused Akshay and Gokul had helped in making the bomb. The main accused in the case Mithun surrendered at Edakkad station yesterday. Gokul, a native of Echoor, was in custody yesterday. Akshay, the first accused in the case, had been arrested earlier. The vehicle in which the accused were traveling was taken into custody.
