Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Congress (M) chairman Jose K Mani has resigned as Rajya Sabha MP. The resignation letter was handed over to the President. According to Kerala Congress sources, he tried to resign as soon as he left the UDF. Prof. Jose K. Mani became the Rajya Sabha MP in the vacancy of PJ Kurien. Before the Lok Sabha elections, when KM Mani and his cohorts returned to the UDF, Jose K Mani was given the Rajya Sabha seat.
