Thiruvananthapuram: The Met Office has warned of heavy rains in four districts of the state. Yellow alert issued in Idukki, Palakkad, Kozhikode, and Wayanad districts. Isolated showers of 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm are forecast in 24 hours. It has been raining in many parts of the state in the last few days. As the summer rains subside, the temperature rises. It may also lead to severe drinking water shortages.
