Kochi: The remand period of 15 accused in a gold smuggling case has been extended. The deadline has been extended to September 8. In the case registered by the Customs, the accused including Swapna, Sarith, and Sandeep Nair were arrested. The remand was extended.
Defendants were produced in court via video conference. Evidence to influence witnesses by granting bail to the accused Customs has made it clear in Scotland that there is a possibility.
