Thiruvananthapuram: The crime branch has filed a charge sheet against the second accused Swapna Suresh in the case of filing a false complaint against an Air India official. The charge sheet was filed in the Thiruvananthapuram Judicial First Class Magistrate Court.
Members of the internal investigation committee are also involved in the case, which has a total of 10 accused. The first accused is Vinoy Jacob, Vice Chairman, Air India SATS. According to the charge sheet, the second accused, Swapna, made the false allegation. The finding against the Internal Investigation Commission is that it conspired to create a false complaint against the officer.
The investigation into the case will begin in 2016. The Crime Branch had also questioned Air India officials in the case. Air India had taken action against LS Sibu for speaking to the media. Swapna Suresh had lodged a false complaint against LS Sibu while she was an Air India SATS employee.
