Thiruvananthapuram: Youth Congress fake identity card case mastermind MJ Ranju has surrendered at Museum police station.
His arrest was recorded as the main link in making the fake ID card. Four people who were Ranju’s accomplices had been arrested earlier. Feni Nainan, Binil Binu, Abhinand Vikram and Vikas Krishna are Ranju’s associates.
Earlier, another accused in the case, Jayson, had surrendered at the Museum police station. Jason is the main accused in the case of making the CR card app. A police investigation team was formed when it was discovered that fake election ID cards were being manufactured and widely used for Youth Congress elections.
