Dollar smuggling case: Chief Minister’s Former Principal Secretary M. Shivashankar’s arrest was recorded

Thiruvananthapuram: In the dollar smuggling case, the former principal secretary of the chief minister M. Shivashankar’s arrest was recorded by customs. The action was taken with the permission of the Kochi Financial Crimes Court. Shivshankar has been named as the fourth accused in the case.

Meanwhile, customs is questioning a foreign businessman in a dollar smuggling case. Mohammed Lafir, who runs a foreign university in Dubai, is being questioned by customs. Customs concluded that he was the one who received the dollars brought abroad through the staff of the UAE Consulate.
